Terms of Use

These terms explain how you can use Deberi. Please read them before you start. By creating an account or using Deberi, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy notice explains how we use personal data.

1. Who we are

Deberi is a trading name of Jailton Rocha Cardoso Ltda, a company registered in Brazil (CNPJ 37.200.262/0001-00). Our address is Rua Tomé de Souza, 07, Caetité – BA, 46400-000, Brazil. You can contact us at help@deberi.app.

In these terms, "we", "us" and "Deberi" mean Jailton Rocha Cardoso Ltda. "You" means the business that creates the account, and anyone who uses Deberi on its behalf, such as your staff.

2. What Deberi is

Deberi is a till app for small businesses. It lets you record sales, see how much should be in the till, cash up, log expenses, keep track of stock if you want to, and see your takings and reports. You can use it on a phone, tablet or computer, and also from WhatsApp.

Deberi doesn't take card payments and never holds your money. You take cards on your own card machine (for example SumUp, Square, Zettle, Dojo or your bank's), under your own agreement with that provider. Deberi only records the sale.

3. For business use

Deberi is for use in your trade, business or profession, including as a sole trader. You must be 18 or over to create an account. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have by law that can't be taken away.

7. Your account

8. Your data

Your sales, items, expenses, till counts and reports belong to you. You can download them at any time. We only use them to run Deberi for you, as explained in our Privacy notice. We never sell them.

9. Data you put in about other people

If you put personal data about other people into Deberi (for example a customer's mobile number to send them a receipt, or the names of your staff), you are the controller of that data and we are your processor under the UK GDPR. You're responsible for having a lawful reason to use it and for telling those people how you use it. For that data, we will:

10. WhatsApp

Using Deberi from WhatsApp is optional. Messages, voice notes and photos you send to our WhatsApp number are carried by Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform, and WhatsApp's own terms apply to your use of WhatsApp. You check every sale before it's saved. Deberi never messages your customers on its own.

11. Your responsibilities

12. Keeping Deberi running

We work hard to keep Deberi working well, and you can keep selling for a while without internet. But we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may improve or change features. If a change takes away something important you pay for, we'll tell you first and you can cancel.

13. Our responsibility to you

14. Suspending or closing an account

We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or whose subscription isn't paid. Where we can, we'll tell you first and give you the chance to put things right and to download your data.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters to you, we'll tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before it applies. The date at the top shows when they last changed.

16. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can deal with any dispute. If your business is based in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
